Several years ago, while sitting through my MBA class, I asked myself a question: What it the economic value of Trust? After a lot of circumspection and discussion, I came to a conclusion: A lot. In fact, it is the most valuable commodity in the world. I then started thinking about What is Trust? and What are the traditional Societal Trust mechanisms? One of the most important insights (at least that is what I believe) was that one of the essential requirements for people to trust each other is the present of an accountability-mechanism by which errant behavior is 'punished'. Verimployee is culmination of years of my thinking and research on this topic. Verimployee seeks to restore trust between employers and employees by providing an accountability platform on the lines of the accountability mechanisms that have existed in all societies across the world since times immemorial. It is my sincere belief and honest wish that Verimployee succeeds in its mission to promote trust. Show less
