The study includes recommendations for future strategy planning for conservation organisations involved with ecotourism-management. Working together with the socio-economic department for development of ecotourism in Sebangau National Park. Some of the responsibilities have been to prepare and hold focus groups at village level to evaluate and raise the capacity of local tour operators, and analyzed and produced recommendations for future engagement to increase possibilities for successful ecotourism. Developed key skills in awareness raising and produced recommendations for follow-up commitments for conservation and socio-economic development.
