  A corporate role to support the Executive Director of Nursing in the management of the CCG nursing portfolio, encompassing quality, patient safety and safeguarding. The role required strategic clinical leadership to influence commissioning for patient outcomes and quality, enabling and supporting excellence in service delivery, complex stakeholder management, large scale organisational development, change management and performance management of safeguarding practice. I provided nursing expertise, strategic leadership and direction to commissioners and providers across Manchester. A large part of the role was to work closely with the Executive team and quality leads to ensure that the patient's voice is heard and their journey through various health services is safe, effective, efficient and of a high quality. I maintained a significant role within the multiagency partnership arrangements across the city. Show less
