I was responsible for exercise classes, correction of mandatory work and being the link between students and professor. The course is divided into two parts. The first part deals with fundamentals of fluid dynamics, while the second part deals with practical flow calculations and heat transfer calculations, in addition to some MatLab and Python programming. The work also included exercise lectures.

Borregaard is an international company with a strong global position, and operates the world’smost advanced biorefinery. I worked in a team responsible for research and development within the area of speciality cellulose. The syntheses were run in an Atlas jacketed reactor and the viscosity of the dissolved derivatives were measured using Physica MCR 301. I also ran application tests to investigate the use of the synthesized products in Borregaard’s customers’ processes.
