Stage Manager on Thank You Very Much, a choreographed work from Claire Cunningham which uses tribute artists as a platform to explore impersonation, identity, acceptance and the challenge of being yourself. Originally performed at the Ukrainian Culture Centre in 2019, we have since taken the show on a European Tour in 2021, and continue to tour, most recently to Brussels & Hannover. We next take the show to Poznan & Oslo in October. ASM for Tao of Glass, originally created in the round for MIF19, I became involved in the production in 2020 as it was reimagined for proscenium venues including the Heath Ledger Theatre in Perth, Australia. The pandemic put a pause on the continuation of its 2020 tour, but we continued in 2021 with Reklinghausen, Germany. Most recently we have taken the show to Memorial Hall, North Carolina and Skirball, New York. Our next outing will be to Hong Kong. Stage Manager - 'Tidy Up' and 'Shh...Bang!'
-
Oct 2017 - Nov 2018
Over this time I was Stage Manager on two of their shows, 'Shh...Bang!' and 'Tidy Up’. Additionally doing other freelancing work intermittently between tours. I started on placement with Peut Être Theatre during their rehearsals for 'Tidy Up' which was a collaboration with GOSH Arts and rehearsed at Great Ormond Street Hospital. I was then asked to join them on tour as Stage Manager with both 'Tidy Up' UK tour and 'Shh...Bang!'. I learnt 'Shh...Bang!' during their understudy rehearsals in December 2017, which was followed by 6 performance at the Roundhouse, Camden. We then flew to Beijing, China to perform 'Shh...Bang!' at the Beijing Tianquiao Performing Arts Centre (with A.S.K, Arts Space for Kids). Show less
