      The Buttonwood Tree is a performing arts center which offers weekly Open Mic events, as well as live bands Friday and Saturday nights. Music, song, poetry, storytelling, improv, art classes are some of the events we offer. An intimate space with excellent acoustics, we are supported in part by CT Humanities, the City of Middletown Arts Commission, ticket sales, grants, and memberships. We also rely on donations.
