  Mor Ephrem the Syrian Patriarchal Authority for Development (EPDC). It is a non-governmental organization that operates under the auspices of the Syriac Orthodox Patriarchate of Antioch and All the East and reports directly to His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, the Most Blessed. The Authority serves with love: Syrian families displaced from their places of original residence The most vulnerable Syrian families in the host community who have been directly affected by the crisis Iraqi refugee families to Syria People with special needs orphans The Authority provides its humanitarian services in: Damascus and its countryside - Aleppo - Homs - Al-Hasakah - Qamishli - Lattakia - Tartous - Hama. Business sectors: The Authority is currently working according to basic sectors through which it seeks to cover most of the necessary needs of people according to the standards and recommendations set by the most important international bodies concerned with humanitarian affairs.
