Overview

St. Ephrem Patriarchal Development Committee (EPDC) A social, non-governmental, non-profit, and non-political organization that operates under the patronage of the Syriac Orthodox Patriarchate of Antioch and all the East and is directly affiliated with His Holiness Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, and under the direction of His Eminence Bishop Mor Boutros Kassis and Executive Director Mr. Hisham Saad. EPDC started providing its humanitarian services with a small number of people who responded quickly to our Iraqi brothers since 2003 by providing aid and relief work. EPDC was licensed as a non-governmental, non-profit organization in 2014, aiming to meet the humanitarian needs of the Syrian people without any religious, ethnic, regional, or sectarian discrimination. As the service is provided according to need for those who deserve it, and EPDC also aims to establish development projects and sustainable development programs as an essential step in the early recovery of our societ after the war. EPDC vision: A society in which peace prevails, grows and develops on the basis of morals and human principles. EPDC Mission: Securing the necessary needs of the Syrian people to establish themselves in their land and to have a better life.
