  With a brief break in service where I served as a traditional member of the Oregon National Guard. Reentered active service following the 9/11 attacks. As an Armor Officer, I had the good fortune to serve in an Armor Battalion, Cavalry Squadrons, and even an Engineer Battalion. Prior to commissioning, I was an Enlisted Combat Engineer.
