Additionally assisted with the practical skills education of over 100 students preparing for the NREMT psychomotor exam. Marine Biology Researcher

Researched the diversity and distribution of echinoderms within a 60-meter radius around the island of Biidub, Guna Yala, Panamá using marine sampling methods (quadrat surveys, belt transects) and statistical analyses (one-way ANOVA, post hoc Tukey’s Honest Significance Difference). Compiled a thorough analysis of the island’s marine diversity and submitted a full report to the Guna Yala indigenous government. Completed coursework in Marine Ecology and Blue Carbon Conservation in the Pacific and Caribbean and joined a 1-week expedition to the uninhabited island of Coiba to conduct marine research with 7 other professional scientists. Additionally collected and responsibly disposed of 283 pounds of trash found in the waters around the island.
