Overview

Georgetown Emergency Response Medical Service is a volunteer, student-run EMS organization that has provided rapid response, treatment, and transport to Georgetown University and the surrounding community since 1982. GERMS provides emergency care 24/7, year-round, free of charge. GERMS responds to medical emergencies on the Georgetown University Main/Medical Campus as well as in the neighborhoods of West Georgetown, Burleith, and Foxhall.
