  - Managed the day to day operation of a Township with 47,963 constituents, $70 million budget and 423 employees. - Balanced a budget for two years without layoffs and maintaining a high level of service - Oversaw the negotiations with six unions, establishing consistency with benefits for all employees and equity in salaries, including new 12 step guides for fireman saving the township $1.5 million. - Implemented a number of revenue raising initiatives including, third party delinquent fine collections, motor vehicle accident response fee, electronic billboard advertising, e-ticketing for police, simplified code enforcement - Facilitated and pushed for a number of private/public partnerships including a $1.5 million streetscape project, $14 million 80 unit affordable housing for seniors, $40 million mixed use, condo and garage, $1 million historic train station remodeling - Pursued and negotiated a number of shared services with both surrounding towns and school board, this includes fire services, animal control, street cleaning, snow plowing and human services. Saving the town over $200,000 - To create efficiency reorganized the DPW to include park maintenance, in addition overseeing the completion of a $1.2 million green acres/township purchase of open space in the center part of town - Implemented new policies to provide more accountability and transparency within certain departments to root out abuses in employee benefits and apparent lack of oversight of department spending - Ran a number of forums with residents to educate the public on numerous topics that the Township was and are potentially moving forward with -Reorganized the IT department to create efficiency saving the township $80,000 in telephone costs - Initiated planning of a $15 million water tower to provide the township with their own water supply with annual savings of $600,000
