Any employer would be extremely lucky to have Nishad on his team! Nishad and I worked together at the University of Edinburgh Q-Step Centre, where he was a Student Ambassador. In this role, Nishad has contributed to the success of a number of high profile activities, including the 2014 and 2015 Q-Step summer school, the 2015 and 2016 ESRC festival of social science and the 2016 AQMeN international conference. Nishad is also the co-founder of the University of Edinburgh Society for Quantitative Research (Q-Soc), the first of its kind in the UK. As the Society's president, Nishad was responsible for developing the society’s strategic plan and liaise with various stakeholders within and outside the University as well as with students and staff members. Nishad is a talented, hard-working, committed and forward-thinking individual and a joy to collaborate with. He is thoroughly skilled in IT and has strong data analysis skills. He also has excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Leviathan is the University of Edinburgh’s official, student-run politics and international relations journal. Founded in 2010, Leviathan is a publication of the University of Edinburgh and the University of Edinburgh's Political Union. The journal incorporates articles written by students and staff of the University, policymakers, and prominent thinkers. Regional editors make up the core of the editorial staff and are responsible for first-round edits. As the first point of contact for contributors, they are expected to provide suggestions on the content and rewrite the submitted material. Their responsibilities include recruiting contributors and acting as brand ambassadors for the journal. Politics Made Public aims to provide a forum where politically curious students can present, analyse and contest some of the most significant contemporary political issues. With an international perspective to bring about a better understanding of the ends which some news stories whether untold or unremarked may lead us to, the PMP takes its point of departure in simplicity and approachability in conveying stories that are sometimes neglected by mainstream media, but is of consequential importance to the global world of politics we live in today, and serves to provide its readers with holistically informed and evaluated material. As Acquisition Editor, I am in charge of approving pitches, editing and publishing assignments. As the Branch Editor at the University of Edinburgh, I lead a team of editors and journalists who contribute to the online and print version of the magazine. Website: http://politicsmadepublic.com/
