Zipporah Oliver O.A.M. is a registered psychologist based in St Kilda East, Melbourne. With over 24 years of experience providing a professional, skilled and ethical psychological service, Zipporah is committed to enhancing the psychological and emotional wellbeing of her clients. Having high ambitions for your career or personal life is frequently paired with increased stress levels, which may result in feelings of overwhelm and anxiety, and can affect other areas life – especially with the relationships of loved ones. Some symptoms that are commonly experienced by this stress include depression, anxiety, insomnia, panic attacks, and low self-esteem to name but a few. The counselling process can help you deal with difficult problems, however, it does not always have to be problem-based. You may elect to utilise counselling to address deeper issues in order to optimise your life and gain clarity on the pathways you need to undertake to achieve your goals. The coaching element of counselling can enhance functioning, especially juggling the work/life challenge.
