We envision a world where every child is able to access their fullest potential. Through empowering teachers to play an active role in the development of each child’s well being and independence, we know we can reach our vision. Zamozi partners with schools, non-profit organisations, and other community leaders to provide training to teachers and caregivers on positive behaviour intervention, communication strategies, and social and emotional development to improve academic outcomes for early learners. Equipping teachers with the tools to create a kind and supportive classroom that highlights each child's individuality allows for inclusion and engagement of typically developing children and children with disabilities. Creating socially and academically accessible classrooms for children with developmental disabilities, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, is a specific passion within Zamozi. Teacher well-being is at the forefront of our work. A caring classroom is difficult to run with a stressed out, overworked teacher. Wellness, self-care, and reflection are integral tools for every teacher. Personal growth begets professional growth, and Zamozi is here to maximise growth!
