The club's primary role is to organise events and activities, both social and Masonic, that encourage young masons to get involved in the fraternity. The club also promotes openness and pride in masonry and stresses the contemporary role that it plays in modern society, with a particular emphasis on its relation to the younger generations. In addition to its social functions, the Club also acts as a representative body for the views of the younger generation of masons. The Club's officers and members meet regularly to discuss the issues facing young masons, and to develop proposals for how masonry can better serve the needs of the younger generation. These proposals are then presented to Metropolitan Grand Lodge for consideration. Young Masons is a valuable resource for young masons in London. It provides a way for them to meet and socialize with like-minded people, to learn more about masonry, and to get involved in the fraternity.
