Overview

European Network of Cities for VET Mobility & Innovation Xarxa FP is a European non-profit association created in 1999 gathering 38 cities from 15 EU countries working together on VET mobility and innovation. Today we bring together 38 different European cities across 15 countries committed with VET: Alcoi (ES), Antwerpen (BE), Barcelona (ES), Berlin (DE), Breda (NL), Brussels (BE), Constanta (RO), Espoo (FI), Gandia (ES), Granada (ES), Groningen (NL), Hamburg (DE), Herning (DK), Koge (DK), Kokkola (FI), Kuopio (FI), Leuven (BE), Lisbon (PT), Lublin (PL), Madrid (ES), Mislata (ES), Munich (DE), Oulu (FI), Palermo (IT), Prague (CZ), Reus (ES), Roma (IT), Rovaniemi (FI), Sète (FR), Skelleftea (SE), Tartu (EE), Toulouse (FR), Treviso (IT), Ventspils (LV), Vejle (BE), Viborg (DK), Westerburg (DE), Zwolle (NL). Xarxa FP arranges work placements for VET students and trainings for VET teachers in European cities members of the network. Every year around 500 young European students and almost 300 VET teachers participate in mobility training actions. Xarxa FP Strategic Plan 2016-2020 sets out three main priorities to be developed in the upcoming years in order to become a reference organisation within the area of European VET mobility and innovation in line with the EU’s strategic priorities: - Improve the quality and quantity of VET MOBILITY - Stimulate and promote VET INNOVATION - Contribute to the design of VET POLICIES Xarxa FP is the only European network of its kind that guarantees that its processes adhere to ISO quality standards (ISO 9001:2015). The Secretariat is permanently located in Barcelona whereas the Presidency is rotatory (currently located in Munich, Germany).
