Overview

X-Agriculture is a tech start-up which aims to revolutionize agriculture by bringing scientific and technological solutions to issues encountered in the agricultural sector. X-Agriculture started as an initiative to solve the problem of drought that is affecting many regions around the African continent. Currently, it is working on its first product called Autorig, which is an irrigation controller that adjusts the flow of water in irrigation systems according to the soil moisture, temperature and humidity. X-Agriculture has received many prestigious distinctions including First Place and Public vote at the Enterprise Festival 2017 at African Leadership Academy, as well as the 2017 W. Paatii Ofosu-Amaah Award for Applied Science and Technology. Additionally, X-Agriculture has been selected to showcase its work at the Igniting Innovation Summit at Harvard University through the Village to Raise Child Program, as well as the FabLearn 2017 conference at Stanford. Vision: Revolutionize Agriculture in Africa. Mission: Design and develop efficient technology to reduce the effect of drought in Agriculture.
