Overview

WT Waste, a family run company, have provided waste management and recycling services to customers across Norfolk and north Suffolk. The company was established over 30 years ago by Walter Thurtle, who saw a gap in the market for a waste company to provide waste collection services to the holiday camps and companies in the tourist industry. The business grew quickly and the company were soon collecting waste from several camps across Norfolk, before expanding their services to collect general waste; specifically from customers in the Great Yarmouth area. In 2005 the company moved from its existing premises to a purpose built waste transfer and recycling facility on the Harfrey's Industrial Estate in Great Yarmouth. It was at this point that the company began offering skip hire services to customers. Today Walter, along with his sons Gary and Max, continue to run the business as it concentrates on skip hire, roll on-offs and recycling services.
