WorkEx is a Career Skills Program (CSP) designed to introduce the job seeker to industry requirements while gaining hands-on experience and meeting specific employer needs. WorkEx is an approved career skills internship program (aka DoD SkillBridge program) based out of Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) in Washington State. WorkEx is a transition acceleration program that helps you experience a civilian work culture, learn the ropes of a new job, and gain new skills while preparing you for your next career opportunity. It is a fast-track, on-site training opportunity that leads to a guaranteed job interview for the participant, and allows employers to be confident that the job seeker is a good fit for the organization.
