About Us The Wooden Toy Gallery was born through our concern that modern children have become increasingly exposed to artificial toys and materials. We wanted to provide children and their parents with an alternative so that future generations can continue to enjoy the wonder of contact and play with toys made in natural materials. In doing so, we are also proud that our gallery is helping to protect wooden toy making traditions and the skills of the craftsmen who make them; skills that will otherwise be forgotten as toy making by hand is being increasingly replaced by machines. Our Goal Our goal is to offer natural and safe products for children and families which will help them to develop their natural senses and offer the opportunity to live and play in a more natural environment. We also help to support craftsmanship and tradition by selling wooden toys and a variety of natural handmade goods. Our promise Natural and safe toys are fundamental to our philosophy. We guarantee the quality of our toys which all comply with the European Union CE standard and above. Our wooden products have been carefully crafted from sustainable European forests which are replanted strictly according to the EU arboriculture regulations and / or from recycled timbers. Our toys either have no finish or are naturally finished or painted with non-toxic water-based dyes. They are all made by skilled craftsmen who take pride in the environmental credentials of their toys and their work. Although toys are our main focus, we also offer other natural products, but as with our toys these are all natural, hand-crafted goods of the highest quality.
