Wood County Health Department employees work to keep our community healthy and safe on a daily basis through our many services. They help to ensure Wood County residents have safe and healthy food, clean water to drink and sanitary housing. They provide health and nutrition education, disease prevention and immunizations, as well as services to promote health and increase access to medical and dental care. Our Community Health Center provides quality health services to improve the well-being of individuals and families. We serve all of our community with courteous and friendly high-quality primary and preventative health services. We welcome all new patients, regardless of income level or insurance coverage. We also accept most insurance including Medicaid and Medicare.
