Established in 2016. Wong Lerner Coaching Founder, Dr. Shannon Wong Lerner is a cross-continental scholar, communication specialist, and performing artist whose work spans across the United States, Europe, and Asia. Since 2016, she's brought together academic, life-work balance coaching, and career and communication coaching & consulting expertise for a cross-cultural and cross-continental integration of innovative ideas, healthy practices, and creativity. She's served individuals from Fortune 50/500 companies such as KPMG, VISA, PayPal, and Jelly Belly and other corporations and universities such as UC Medical Center, Dignity Health, Brown, Stanford, and Waseda University among others. She also has experience working with individuals from U.S. and international government entities. Her experience in Asia and the Pacific Islands includes working alongside the South Korean Gyeonggi province governor, Sohn Hak-kyu and Ekei-Lalii Remengesau (The Princess of the Island of Palau). Currently, she is working on collaborative book projects in communication, voice, media/technology, and performance for Oxford University Press and Bloomsbury Press. Dr. Wong Lerner holds a Ph.D. in Communication Studies from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, an M.S. in Rhetoric and Technical Writing from Michigan Technological University, a B.A. degree in English Literature and Creative Writing from San Francisco State University, and an A.A. degree in Voice at American River College. Shannon is certified to teach ESL through Cambridge University (CELTA). Shannon holds certificates for the Luce Irigaray Paris Seminar “The First Steps in Building a World Culture” and Luce Irigaray International Scholars Seminar from Global Center for Advanced Studies, Alma Mater Europaea, University of the West of England, and University of Bristol.
