Overview

Women in Public Finance is a professional networking organization for women in the public finance industry. We seek to advance women’s leadership opportunities by fostering relationships and providing educational activities and forums. Founded in 1997, Women in Public Finance started out with a focus on the mid-west region which has expanded over the years to draw interest from all over the United States. In 2010, Women in Public Finance amended its bylaws to recognize regional chapters and affiliates, encouraging professionals within a particular state to provide more frequent personal contact and facilitate regional activities that compliment the nationally focused activities of WPF. Participants in our organization include state and local government issuers, not-for-profit issuers, investment bankers, attorneys, financial advisors, rating agency analysts, bond insurers, and trust officers among others. The organization is governed by a 18-member Board of Directors.
