Overview

At Women’s Relief Initiative, we aim to provide immediate relief to people dealing with a lack of menstrual hygiene products in resource-stricken communities, beginning in Guinea, West Africa. We are currently developing a completely biodegradable pad to provide sustainable menstrual hygiene without causing economic strain. Our objective is three-fold: • To educate women about period poverty issues in resource-stricken communities • To empower women to be self-sufficient • To raise awareness about the importance of hygienic menstrual products Our overall mission is simple: to provide menstrual aid that empowers women, sustains the environment, and uplifts under-resourced communities.
