Welcome to Edinburgh Univerity Women in Law's LinkedIn page. Edinburgh University's Women in Law Society was founded in response to the absence of a supportive community within the University for women pursuing, or considering, a career in law. As such, Women In Law was created with the aims of promoting equality and inspiring students through the achievements of women leaders in the legal sector. The Society runs panel discussions, interviews, networking events, and legal conferences, all in order to educate students on career opportunities in the legal field and how they can achieve their goals as future lawyers working in human rights, commercial, family, criminal, or any other field of law. We at Women in Law hope that we can encourage young lawyers to persist in their efforts of making the world a better place through law, by taking advantage of the vast number of highly qualified women lawyers who can inspire and enlighten them.
