SUMMARY I am a Management Professional with a career that has stretched from being an indentured Mechanical Engineering Apprentice (four years) to being a corporate Director of Maintenance at two global Companies. During this period I traversed through various job levels in Service/Project Engineering, Major Capital Engineering, Maintenance and Construction Management (different positions) and Leadership, gaining extensive experience in pulp & paper with a minor in chemical, power, etc. I have retired four times over my career, but as my wife says, “you have yet to get it right.” My proven record of developing and actualizing maintenance strategies at multiple plant locations, improving machine operations and efficiency, reducing unscheduled downtime, extending time between outages, and reducing manufacturing costs still excites me … especially when I think about the opportunities still waiting to be tackled. My most recent position (ten years), in the specialized area of Business Development, allowed me to use all my previous learned experiences to help colleagues’ build a business, while improving client strategies and results.
