Wave One is a Palo Alto, CA based non-profit working with the City of Palo Alto and the local business community to to systematically evaluate the opportunities and barriers for implementation of comprehensive energy and water conservation in small to medium commercial properties. Through detailed energy audits, on-going monitoring, and engagement of the business community to identify structural barriers to conservation, Wave One is finding solutions to make Palo Alto more sustainable and producing a data set that will be applicable to other communities targeting energy efficiency in small commercial properties.
