Overview

We are the new pathway to the Watford Ladies First Team. The Academy has been setup in conjunction with Watford Ladies FC and also Watford Football Club. Although we are not an RTC, we will be playing under a professional structure in line with Watford Football Club and Watford Ladies FC. This girls only youth academy aims to improve the standard of football training available to girls to include not only physical training, but, a full syllabus including the important issues of nutrition, player respect and match day etiquette. The aim is to produce strong female players who are ready to feed into the senior teams and improve the standard of women’s football overall. Further, we aim to promote the overall health, fitness and confidence in girls as a whole. All our Coaches will hold the FA Level 2 qualification at a minimum, and are being encouraged to progress to UEFA-B.
