Overview

WIRC provides a unique environment to engage globally in research and policy on water technologies and resource management. Our interconnected research themes are aligned to the key challenges faced by the water sector. Our research is divided into eight themes that tackle the issues surrounding water such as treatment and management, as well as exploring the potential in new water technologies. The multidisciplinary projects we work on are relevant in areas of environmental sustainability, economic efficiency, food and energy security, user engagement, and human health and wellbeing. WIRC @ Bath comprises 12 core members on its management board. These members include academics at the forefront of their field and leading on groundbreaking projects in water research.
