The Walter Rodney Foundation (WRF), is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that was established by the Rodney Family in 2006 to share the life and works of Dr. Walter Rodney with students, scholars, researchers, activists, and communities worldwide. The WRF seeks to advance Rodney’s contributions to the praxis of scholarship, political activism and consciousness, and social change. Our mission is to further Walter Rodney's legacy by sharing his work and fostering the application of his historical analysis and scholar-activism to effect change on key social justice issues affecting marginalized and underrepresented communities. Our vision is to champion Walter Rodney’s unwavering commitment to racial equity, social justice, and human rights. The Walter Rodney Foundation adopted the values of Walter Rodney: ARIES Advocacy, Respect, Integrity, Equity, and Solidarity.
