VP Capital is an Australia-focused, AFS-licensed wholesale fund manager. It currently manages VP Capital Fund I, which has a broad mandate to invest in listed equities, public market transactions (such as capital raisings and underwriting), private companies and pre-IPOs among other opportunities. The fund’s principal focus is on Australian investment opportunities, but also undertakes occasional investments in other jurisdictions. The fund has generated ~16% net IRR since inception in February 2018 (vs 7% on ASX same period). From time to time, VP Capital also leads or licenses syndicated investments or special purpose funds into unique opportunities that the founders believe exhibit asymmetric risk-reward attributes.
