Climate Change and its effects on our planet is the biggest threat of the 21st century and our main driver for investing in a sustainable future of our planet. We feel obliged towards the Sustainable Development Goals as well as the German Climate Change Act (CCA). We believe that decarbonizing our mobility and our buildings are not the only but ones of the key factors to reaching these goals successfully. Therefore, we invest in available and mature decarbonizing technologies today, so that every day makes a difference! The transportation sector has not seen real reduction in carbon emissions since the dawn of the industrial revolution. By contrast, the German CCA aims for a decarbonization of the transportation sector by 48 percent until 2030. WallboxNow is our first investment towards closing this gap. It is our belief that electric mobility is the most efficient solution for decarbonization of mobility, requiring a swift development of an affordable EV infrastructure. Especially in places with the longest standing hours of electric vehicles, such as at home, business, on parking spaces, where vehicles spend most of their lifetime. We continuously invest in solar (photovoltaics), battery storages, heat pumps and more. Our vision entails the decarbonization as well as the democratization of energy. More to come soon.
