The Voice of Hope is a Charity based in Stoke in Trent that was established in 2015, raising awareness of Modern Day Slavery and Human Trafficking. Modern Day Slavery is happening right on our doorstep in Stoke in Trent and throughout the county. Human trafficking is one of the most serious and barbaric crimes, profiting from human misery, and is one of the fastest-growing criminal industries of our time. Our aim is to reach out and provide insightful and informative training sessions to professionals who work in a sector that may encounter victims or people who are vulnerable and at risk of becoming a victim to Modern Slavery and County Lines. These sectors can range from, Healthcare, Advice, Housing associations, and Volunteers within our county. Our training will equip and empower professionals with an insight into Modern Slavery and County Lines, providing them with the skills and knowledge to re-enter their workforce feeling confident that they will be able to assist victims of MS. The Sessions will cover: - What is Human Trafficking and Modern Day Slavery - Why are people trafficked - Categories of Modern Day Slavery - Indicators of Modern Slavery - How to respond and report concerns Our training is aimed at schools, care organisations, the business sector, local authorities and religious organisations. The Voice of Hope training sessions are free and can be tailored to suit your company training requirements. We strive to work collaboratively with relevant organisations across all sectors to support victims of Modern Day Slavery. We have established good relations with Staffordshire Police, Local housing associations, and many more organisations across the region and wish to continue building strong partnerships to tackle Modern Slavery.
