Overview

Moving business forward for people who want to start a business, change careers, entrepreneurs (new and experienced), and for small businesses and frankly anyone who wants to be in business is challenging enough, and in recent years has become even more complicated with a dynamic economy, decreasing corporate loyalty and resulting layoffs, rapid turnovers in personnel, and the growth of the gig economy. As we have seen, more and more business people have had to work on their own. The pandemic has driven the realization that more and more people will be working from home and will be using video platforms like Zoom, and programs like Slack and other tech-based platforms to communicate. Some studies show that productivity for employees may increase from working at home, while others show that working from home can be isolating. What has become clear is that for business to move forward in this challenging, constantly changing environment, business professionals and their advisors need to experience each other in settings where they can find each other effectively, and then can collaborate, co-create, co-invent, promote, learn, and produce real results. Shared working spaces tried to solve some of the isolation people were experiencing, but that model may not survive in this trend toward in home officing (especially for the many out of work) and was not designed for creating collaborative opportunities or experiences where all of the people and tools one may need are readily available. There simply has been no effective way for entrepreneurs and small businesses to quickly and effectively find and access all they need to drive their business to success. Until now.
