Pays d’Oc IGP is the leading French geographical indication in varietal wines. N° 1 French exporter, the label represents 2 600 companies and 20 000 grape producers for half of the vineyards throughout Languedoc-Roussillon region. First created in 1987, the label continues to grow, with 800 million bottles sold in 2014, half of it exported to 170 countries. This success confirms new international consumer trends towards a clearly identifiable offering: varietal wines. Thanks to its 56 accredited grape varieties the label offers a highly diverse range of wines throughout all the different distribution circuits. With Pays d’Oc IGP, this diversity also integrates assurance of the quality and traceability of wines, thanks to specifications which are controlled by the Bureau Veritas certification body (100% of wines produced are controlled).
