Victorian Afghan Associations Network (VAAN) is an official umbrella organisation comprised of a dozen registered Afghan Community groups that work together formally to coordinate activities and pull resources. It was officially launched on 6th February 2016 following series of negotiation between different Afghan community groups in south-east Melbourne. VAAN aims to work for creating a better coordination between Afghan Associations in Victoria to understand the opportunities and challenges in the Afghan community and to find practical solutions for them.
