Our Mission: Veteran Surf Alliance is a Santa Cruz California community based nonprofit organization that teaches, coaches, and mentors Veterans to surf and be respected members of their communities. Our Vision: To bridge the gap between military service and civilian living through surfing communities so they may find the same type of community they had while serving in the military. Our Philosophy: To help Veterans meet their greatest challenges in their darkest of times by experiencing the joy of surfing with the hopes that they may have their lives changed forever. Strategy: Our dynamic and passionate network of surfers is dedicated to helping Veterans, and their families, connect with the communities in which they live by providing a support system where they will gain resources, and guidance on how to develop a healthy lifestyle through surfing and find success transitioning after the military.
