Vector Powersmart is a multi-award winning large-scale commercial solar business who have delivered some of the largest and most iconic solar PV and energy storage systems in New Zealand and Pacific Island communities. Our mission is to help our clients achieve their renewable energy targets in a cost-efficient manner. Our most recent projects included the delivery of a unique and bespoke solution For Watercare Serviced Limited – a grid-tied, 1MW floating solar plant installed on 10,000m² of unusable real estate (the Auckland Rosedale wastewater treatment pond). For this project, we won the 2021 Best Grid Connected Implementation award from the Sustainable Energy Association of New Zealand (SEANZ). In another New Zealand first (at the time of commissioning in 2020), we also completed the Laminex 531kW Grid Connected project - the largest roof-top solar project, with a supporting PPA, ever built in New Zealand, covering 2,724m2 of roof space. We add value for our partners through our proven track record combined with an in-house team of expert engineers and technical consultants. Our engineers design and deliver tailored commercial and utility-scale roof, ground mount and floating solar systems, as well as energy storage projects. Our technical consulting services assist with the development of utility scale power plants.
