VA Ready is a dynamic new partnership focused on helping get Virginians reskilled for in-demand occupations in high-growth industries. VA Ready connects Scholars with fast and free credential training programs as well as career readiness resources and job opportunities with our business partners. Plus, every Scholar who earns their credential will receive a $1,000 Credential Achievement Award to spend where they need it most. Responding to the unprecedented surge in unemployment caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, VA Ready brought together over 20 leading companies across Virginia and established a partnership with the Virginia Community College System (VCCS) and the Commonwealth’s existing FastForward Workforce Credential Program.
