Overview

VPR is working towards beating a huge public health problem in Inida- malnourishment and micronutrient defciencies. Since the government's PDS alone is not adequate to address the issue, the process of fortification was adopted, whereby, additional nutrients are added to staple agricultural produce like rice, oil and flour. We at VPR manufacture fortified rice kernels which is then mixed with rice grains per government regulated ratios and distributed for consumption. Fortification amplifies the nutrient content of regular rice and creates a healthier and stronger India!
