Van Gogh House (VGH) is a Georgian terrace house in Stockwell, London where Vincent Van Gogh lived in 1873-4. Conceived as an opportunity to support both established and emerging artists, the VGH curates a dynamic programme of residences, exhibitions and education projects anchored in artistic practice and local heritage. VGH is a focus for learning and research. We provide opportunities for people to connect with the story of Van Gogh and many wider themes; working with schools, charity partners, academic institutions, artists and our wider community. VGH is a non-profit organisation with no consistent public funding. We are keen to grow our impact through new business sponsorships. All contributions go towards the running of our residencies, exhibitions, education projects as well as maintaining the house’s historic fabric.
