Valente Brothers (VB) is a world renowned self-defense educational institution. The Valente Brothers‘ mission is to raise the physical confidence and overall wellness of students of all ages by teaching a complete and efficient self defense skill set within a safe, clean, positive and respectful environment. We are committed to preserving the technical and philosophical roots of jūjutsu (jiu-jitsu) as imparted to us by Grandmasters Helio Gracie and Dr. Pedro Valente Sr. Valente Brothers is extremely honored to support the troops of the United States of America by providing realistic hand to hand combat training to several military units both locally and overseas. At Valente Brothers we are also extremely proud of our long lasting relationship with the law enforcement community in South Florida. Since 1995 we have been working with officers from virtually every police department in the region. Additionally, we have instructed dozens of law enforcement specific seminars in our school. The practice of jūjutsu transcends the execution of chokes, joint locks, immobilizations, throws, and strikes. A true understanding of the jūjutsu philosophy prepares men, women, and children for life, showing them paths to a healthier life and the most efficient use of physical, mental, and spiritual strength. Developing mental strength is jūjutsu; taking care of your body is jūjutsu; striving to become a better person is jūjutsu; living in harmony with nature is jūjutsu. The Valente brothers created the 753 Code in order to preserve and properly disseminate the original philosophy of jūjutsu. We are available to teach philosophy private lessons through video conference to students from around the world.
