Our team of Coordinators will shoulder the mystery and responsibilities for follow up with Edison, PG&E, Frontier, Spectrum, Cox, SoCal Gas, and others for you. With our experience as General Engineering Contractors, we will add value with Joint Trench Design, coordination with wet utilities and other site features, and the philosophy that time is money, pushing for the timeliest of responses. Our team includes Keith Slocum, President; Deb Frey, Utility Coordinator; Matt Gann, Administrative; Avanti Alias, Administrative; and Madison Oriskovich, Advertising. Our process is to first review all available project information and conduct a site visit or Google Earth Satellite Site Condition Investigation. Second, we apply for new service or request service from the utility. Regardless of what stage the project is, application for power gets the utility’s attention and initiates a timeline of accountability, so we recommend application for power very early. Third, we focus on Tie In Points – where will we tie in for service? Our fourth task is to design a joint utility trench or overhead design, working with you and your design team. Finally, we push, push push for completed Design from the Utilities, with Contracts. That’s the 5 steps – Review, Apply, Tie In, Joint Trench, Handout/Contract. This can involve other services, such as Will Serve Letters, Utility Locating, Non Interference Letters, Address Application, and Contractor RFP, which we can perform if desired.
