The Roger F. Wicker Center for Ocean Enterprise brings together federal, industry and academic agencies to create a global hub for ocean-sensing systems, Uncrewed Maritime Systems (UMS) and ocean data science. The Innovative power of working together in a collaborative environment accelerates the development and launching of new technology in the fast-growing ocean economy. The Roger F. Wicker Center for Ocean Enterprise includes the Marine Research Center (MRC), the Roger F. Wicker Center for Ocean Enterprise (OE) facility-opening 2023, and the Gulf & Ship Island (GSI) Building.
