Overview

Quidditch is a mixed-gender contact sport based on the fictional game described in the book and movie series “Harry Potter”, by J. K. Rowling. The sport was created at Middlebury College (Vermont, USA) in 2005 and has since spread to over 25 countries in 6 continents. The University of Newcastle Quidditch Club was established in 2011 at the University of Newcastle, Australia. The Club is affiliated with Nusport, with Quidditch New South Wales, and with Quidditch Australia Inc.
