Untitled|Collective is a world unique; multi-cultural, multi-discipline, & multi-national arts entity. Founded by Ian RT Colless & Madeleine Johns in 2008 - Brisbane, Australia. The Collective investigates diverse practices & how these influence the navigation of a variety of connected expressions such as; story, art, music, & dance. The Collectives community is not confined by one; country, culture, colour, race, practice, or gender. Hence, 'Untitled|Collective.' Under Ian’s direction, Untitled|Collective has been commissioned to create works at; The Official Opening of the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre & the World Heritage Center (NSW), The United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues (NYC), The Australian Consulate (NYC), National Dance Week (NYC), The Australian Embassy Washington (DC), New York University (NYC), The RUBABOO Arts Festival hosted in collaboration with Alberta Aboriginal Arts (Canada), The Art Gallery of NSW, Museum of Applied Arts & Sciences; Powerhouse (NSW), NAIDOC Week (NSW), The Brisbane Festival’s Indigenous Closing Ceremony (QLD), The Alvin Ailey American Citigroup Theatre (NYC), La MaMa Moves Dance Festival (Broadway, NYC), The Queens Fringe Festival (NYC), Summer Stage Central Park, (NYC) LINK Dance Company (WA), & NAISDA Dance College (NSW).
