Overview

// OFFICIAL UNSW Rocketry Team // UNSW Rocketry is a student led project that designs, builds and launches rockets - on a mission to reach space! 🚀 Our major efforts go towards competing in various rocketry competitions representing UNSW Engineering. We also attend launch days organised by NSW Rocketry Association, who also support the team with certification of members from low power to high power rocketry. Our current major competition is the Spaceport America Cup 2023 coordinated by ESRA, occuring at Spaceport America, New Mexico, United States of America. We intend to fly our rocket to 30,000 feet carrying a payload satellite built by BLUEsat, another student led project we collaborate with. We also hope to inspire students and members in the field of STEMS as well as Aerospace Engineering. We host workshops were we teach the core concepts of rocketry; namely physics, aerodynamics, and fun! We are always open to collaboration and partnership opportunities!
