Overview

Neuroscience is the interdisciplinary study of the nervous system, whose ultimate goal is to understand higher brain function and neurological disease at the cellular and molecular level. Neuroscientists combine molecular, electrophysiological, computational, and behavioral approaches to achieve this goal.
