The UCT Mainz unites all oncologically active institutions of the University Medical Center Mainz, which focus on clinical oncology and/or oncological research. As a Comprehensive Cancer Center, one of the ultimate aims of the UCT Mainz is to provide an innovative platform to transfer findings in basic research to clinical cancer programs finally resulting in the improved clinical care of cancer patients. To achieve this, the UCT Mainz closely collaborates with the Johannes Gutenberg University, numerous research institutions and with various private companies.
